“Love your work. Keep the music coming!” - Robert J. Sunde, New Mexico
“When I reviewed Jaiya, I was utterly amazed. I thought for sure that this British Columbian trio hailed from the UK. They are just THAT convincing. Listen, and dream. - Lawrence Wise And The Cosmic Funk Orchestra, USA (Broadjam fan)
“It is an earth grounding thunderous movement of epic introspection. Listen and you will discover the magic in pagan music” - Zane Adams (fan from CD Baby)
“There is something strangely stirring about this music, something hopeful and affirming. It's music from the hills, from far away, and from home, all at the same time. However Jaiya does it - whether it's the jazzy accordion, the pennywhistle, the harp or those beautiful voices - what results is a deep and unshakeable certainly that the clouds will part, the auld moon will rise again, everything is going to be alright, after all.” - Terry Glavin, Victoria, B.C
“It is a wonderful musical experience! I received my Firedance CD on December 20th, my birthday, and the day before Winter Solstice. I danced and danced, and celebrated another year of my life, and the "yearly return of the light!!" Thank YOU!” - (CD Baby fan)
“Firedance is hauntingly beautiful. This is a treasured recording. "I received a CD of the most wonderful Solstice music at Christmas time! I have played Firedance many times and it is hauntingly beautiful...This is a treasured recording.”- J. Wade. Canada
“Such wonderful music for the soul! If I close my eyes I feel like I’m back in Europe. Love the different instruments and the harmonies are perfect. Its a must have for anyone's collection of good pagan music!” - Llunna (CD Baby fan)
“Your music is very cool! I hope you are submitting to TAXI, because your work would make excellent soundtracks.” - William Kalfelz (Broadjam fan)
“I find myself feeling a kind of internal peace and tranquility…” I enjoyed your CD, "Firedance," very much. The haunting lyrical harmonies, clever word crafting, enduring melodies, and piquant sounds of the accordion have come together in a very compelling way. I find myself feeling a kind of internal peace and tranquility. You should know that I was playing your CD in my office, when several people expressed how charmed they were by your music. Thus, this order for 4 CD's.” - Cynthia F. Canada
“I plan on using this great CD for Beltane!” - Michele (fan from CD Baby)
“Firedance will gain a favorite place among my early seasonal music with artists like Robin Petrie, Brenda Hunter, Maggie Sansone (all hammered dulcimer), vocalists like Loreena McKennitt and ensembles like Anonymous 4, and the Medieval Babes.” - J. Rosolowsky. New Jersey, USA
“Just wanted to say that I loved your songs, hope you liked my review. “ - Best Regards, William K (Broadjam fan)
“Great Renfest Music! You'll feel yourself transported to the fireside of a castle where the harpist entertains after dinner.” - Virginia Allain
“This is a CD that takes you on a very complete, balanced, visual and vivid journey. It starts off with a very hypnotic chant that leads you into the shadows and convinces you to surrender to it. It also challenges you to face this longest night but to have fun, have a few tall, frothy, glasses of ale while doing it. The music is a nice blend of Celtic influences that include strong vocals, harps and drums. It includes both traditional tunes and original pieces. This CD plays out almost like a guided, but somewhat disorganized meditation. My personal favorite songs off this CD are: “The Wheel is born Anew,” “Bring us Good Ale,” and “Firedance.” This CD is great for both a serious, solemn Sabbat and a cheerful celebration.” - Carlee (fan from CD Baby)
“I really enjoy Jaiya's music, very pure and beautiful, the kind of universe I feel close to mine. I'm sure Beltane's night would have certain success in my country next to Loreena McKennitt” - Vincent Bernay, France (Broadjam fan)
“What a pleasure it has been, listening to your two CDs! Great voices, interesting instrument choices played very well, good lyrics. Altogether very fine.” - Samuel Wagar. Canada
“Buy it, love it, and put it on constant repeat right after Samhain! I adore this album for Solstice-time. "Yule is Come" is such a happy, upbeat song, that I've used in ritual since hearing it. "Gaia's Lullaby" is one of the most moving songs I've ever heard and makes me tear up. "Bring Us Good Ale" is hilarious and for some reason makes me think of Hobbits..."Dance to Your Shadow" will make you do just that.” - Mandolin-Orange, Astoria NY (Amazon fan)
